Head over to the city of Bath to walk the grand streets and visit the renowned attractions and buildings here, most notably the Royal Crescent, an iconic row of Georgian houses used numerous times for films and TV, now home to The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa and No 1 Royal Crescent, a heritage museum. Another great day out can be had at the National Trust's Lacock Abbey, Fox Talbot Museum and Village, the former home to the creator of the photographic negative, along with Whitehall Garden Centre which has ice skating at Christmas.
