Woodlands Farmhouse is a wonderful old dairy farmhouse that combines character and charm with the style and chic of the 21st century. This completely renovated farmhouse has been refurbished over two years with care taken to restore its original features such as inglenook fireplaces, an old bread oven and original flagstone and elm floors. As well as fantastic character features, this beautiful property boasts style and comfort with a luxurious hot tub, cinema room, wet room showers and a stunning bespoke kitchen.
Woodlands Farmhouse can sleep up to 14 guests within its 7 en-suite bedrooms, all of which are unique and individually styled such as the open plan bedroom with wet room or the superb four poster bedroom with original elm floor boards. Downstairs there is a bedroom with wet room which can provide ideal accommodation for the elderly or disabled. There is also a library, elegant lounge and courtyard patio area with BBQ.
Somerset is found at the heart of the west country of England and therefore boasts an impressive coastline, fantastic seaside and epic English countryside. You can explore many historic attractions, spend an exciting day on the beach or enjoy a brisk stroll across the beautiful varied landscape. Somerset is also home to a wonderful designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Quantock Hills, where you can enjoy mountain biking, walking or horse riding. As well as enjoying the fresh air of the south west, Somerset can provide excellent family fun in the form of the Hayes Motor museum, the museum of Somerset, Longleat Safari and Adventure Park or Dunster Castle. There are also some wonderful gardens such as Chalice Well and Hestercombe gardens which would make sure a relaxing day out. With so much quality local produce on offer you’ll also be spoilt for choice if you decide to visit a local restaurant for an evening meal or lunch.
