Grace Cottage is a charming nineteenth-century property located in Porlock, Minehead, Somerset. Nestled in the heart of Porlock village, the cottage offers guests a serene retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Having been originally revamped about a decade ago to create a more airy and spacious ground floor living area, Grace Cottage underwent further renovations in 2018 when it changed ownership. These updates included a brand new kitchen equipped with modern facilities, a cosy log burner in the sitting room, and fresh beds and linen throughout the property. The result is a well-appointed and comfortable holiday cottage, perfect for couples or families seeking to explore the picturesque surroundings of Exmoor National Park.
Inside, the sociable living areas are on the ground floor and the bedrooms on the first floor. The ground floor boasts an open-plan layout encompassing the kitchen, dining, and living areas, where guests can enjoy modern amenities such as an HD TV with Chromecast, a soundbar, a DVD player, and a new log burner for added comfort. The kitchen, also newly fitted in 2018, is well-equipped with an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and a variety of kitchen essentials including utensils, cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
Included in the rental price are essential amenities such as WiFi, electricity sourced from 100% renewable energy, and electric storage heating. Additionally, guests will find wood and kindling provided for two fires, along with bed linens, duvets, blankets, and towels (excluding beach towels, which guests are advised to bring). There are two inviting first-floor bedrooms; one double and one twin bedroom. The first floor is complemented by a recently updated bathroom, complete with a powerful shower over the bath and a contemporary large towel rail. Grace Cottage warmly welcomes up to two dogs, with a supplementary fee of £15 per dog. Check-in is available from 2 pm, with check-out required by 10 am.

For parking convenience, two designated off-road spaces are available at Central Garage, a short walk from the cottage, with a closer drop-off point also on offer.
