Bamburgh Rock Cottage is a stunning stone-built house that dates back to the 1800s and has undergone a high-standard refurbishment. Situated next to the iconic Bamburgh Castle, this detached five-bedroom property offers breathtaking views over the village green, towards Holy Island and the castle itself. It is the perfect setting for special occasions, providing ample space for all guests and boasting a fabulous south-facing stone walled garden. The upstairs of the cottage features four double bedrooms, each equipped with its own bathroom for added convenience. All bedrooms are fitted with hardwood shutters and blackout blinds to ensure a peaceful night's rest. Bedroom 2 offers a king-size bed and an en suite shower room at the front of the property, while Bedroom 3 and Bedroom 4 both feature king-size beds and en suite shower rooms at the rear of the house. Bedroom 5 provides two single beds and has exclusive use of the adjacent family bathroom, which includes a bath, separate shower, WC, basin, and heated towel rail, located at the front of the property.
The ground floor of Bamburgh Rock Cottage boasts a magnificent south-facing kitchen, dining, and sitting area. The space is beautifully illuminated by an atrium and floor-to-ceiling Solarlux bifold doors, offering stunning views of the garden and filling the room with natural light. A large oak dining table seating ten guests provides an elegant setting for meals, while a cozy sitting area with a log burner adds to the charm. The fifth bedroom is situated off the kitchen area and is furnished in a traditional style, offering delightful garden views. The expansive south-facing garden has been meticulously designed for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment. Guests can step out onto a spacious terrace, tiled with wood-effect ceramic tiles to match the indoor flooring, perfect for al fresco dining or watching children play. The garden features lush lawns, stone walls for privacy and tranquillity, and two distinct seating areas—one for soaking up the morning sun and another for evening relaxation.
