This stone-built, semi-detached south-facing barn conversion cottage is situated in the secluded and unspoilt woodland valley of the River Hindburn, just three miles from High Bentham on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It has been developed to a high specification and offers breathtaking views of the local countryside and features first-class accommodation. Individually styled and furnished by the current owners, this fabulous Bentham cottage exudes style and character, with modern features including underfloor heating and state-of-the-art lighting. There is a spacious open plan living area with a central woodburning stove and bi-fold doors with access to the lovely patio area. Spacious and bright, the living area exudes real style and the modern kitchen includes a ceramic hob, warming ovens and a beautiful centre island. Upstairs, the master bedroom is a masterpiece of design, with a spectacular layout which includes an en-suite with modern slipper bath sat on a pedestal of natural stone tiling and a feature window to take in the beautiful views. A beautiful second floor bedroom built into the eaves includes a delightful en-suite with travertine tiling, Velux windows and a myriad of original crook beams to create a lovely luxurious feel to the suite. A third double bedroom overlooks the river and is set out in a more traditional manner and again boasts original ceiling beams. Two main bathrooms, one with a claw-footed bath further enhance the luxurious feel of this outstanding Bentham cottage. The village of Bentham boasts a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants serving fine beers and good food. The Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stretches away to the south and offers a wide range of unspoilt landscapes, whilst the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent provide fantastic walking opportunities. Spen House is a semi-detached farmhouse near to the town of High Bentham on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The cottage sleeps ten people and has five bedrooms, four doubles (two with en-suites) and one twin along with two family bathrooms. There is also an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is off road parking and a spacious garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Set in glorious countryside, Spen House is a luxury property in a stunning part of the country.

The market town of High Bentham has a weekly cattle market, shops and a choice of pubs. The market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton and Kendal are all within easy driving distance.
