Two traditional sitting rooms complete the ground floor, both with plenty of plush seating and open fireplaces, ideal for lighting on cooler nights, where you can cosy up and while the night away. All bedrooms are well-presented and spacious, and are serviced by two sleek shower rooms, and a lovely bathroom. If you can tear yourself away from Coombe Place House, head into the village where you can stock up on the essentials, and dine out at The Bucks Head, whilst nearby Droxford offers a popular gastropub, The Bakers Arms. A haven for walkers, the home is enveloped by rolling countryside, with both the Old Winchester Hill and Beacon Hill National Nature Reserve ready to explore, whilst the city of Winchester offers an array of cultural and historic attractions, including Winchester Cathedral, National Trust - Winchester City Mill, and Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium. Travel to the coast with a visit to Southampton, with the chance to tour the SeaCity Museum, visit the Bargate landmark, and enjoy a leisurely stroll around Mayflower Park, before returning home for sundowners. Experience a grand escape at Coombe Place House.
