The stunning Kynance Cove and the rest of the exceptional Lizard Peninsula are on your doorstep ready to explore. In its incredible location close to the south-west Cornwall coast with views down a rolling valley towards the sea, this magnificent conversion of a former barn offers guests a very stylish and beautifully presented retreat. Polurrian House retains many of its original features which blend seamlessly with contemporary additions including a ground source heat pump and solar panels. Set out in reverse style, the living space is on the first floor to take advantage of the valley views. The open plan living room and kitchen with beamed ceilings have a wood burning stove and access to the garden via a small balcony and external stairs. Two of the ground floor bedrooms have French-windows opening onto the private garden and hot tub. There are four bedrooms in total with 3 bathrooms. The quality finish continues in the solid oak fitted kitchen which has granite work surfaces and Neff appliances throughout. Polurrian House has its own fenced garden with outdoor dining area and a separate lounge set with coffee table. There is a hot tub and BBQ for guests to enjoy and a lawned area with stunning countryside views out across the Mullion valley towards the sea at Poldhu Cove. From a central parking area at the entrance to the Barns there is easy access via smooth concrete paths, Polurrian House has an allocated parking space (No 3) in addition to a garage. There are 4 beaches within a few miles, Poldhu Cove with café (and Marconi Centre), isolated Polurrian Cove, Church Cove at Gunwalloe (with a National Trust Car Park) and the towering cliffs of Mullion Cove with its fishing harbour. The South-West Coastal Path offers visitors the chance to explore the beautiful surrounding cliff scenery and access the miles of sand at Loe Bar at the bottom of the Penrose National Trust parkland. For the golfing enthusiast Mullion Golf Club, situated on the cliffs overlooking the cove is half a mile away. Mullion Village itself boasts a number of quality pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Lizard, England’s most southern point is renowned for its beauty and spectacular landscapes with the area designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Polurrian House is ideally located to explore and experience the delights of this unique region.

The first-floor open-plan living area has a kitchen, dining area for eight guests, and a sitting area with Smart TV, woodburning stove, and balcony. Amenities include an electric oven, induction hob, combi microwave/oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, and blender. The bedrooms consist of a double with TV and en-suite bathroom, two ground-floor doubles, one with TV and access to the Jack-and-Jill family bathroom, and a ground-floor twin with en-suite shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with hot tub, furniture and charcoal barbecue, bike storage, and off-road parking. Within 2.8 miles, there is a shop, within 2.9, a pub, and within 1.7, a beach. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburner, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.
