Cottage with open fire,

Yarn Cottage is a charming and beautifully presented property that serves as an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds. Situated just a few steps away from the lively High Street of Broadway, which is often referred to as 'the jewel of The Cotswolds', this cottage offers a delightful setting for your family retreat throughout the year. The history of Yarn Cottage dates back to the 1700s when it was originally a row of three terraced cottages. Over time, it has been transformed into a single dwelling by the current owners, resulting in modern and stylish accommodations that provide a sense of light and space upon entering.

As you step into the cottage, you will be welcomed by a spacious entrance hall with a large storage area for coats and boots, adorned with boutique style artwork and vintage embroideries. The dining and sitting room, bathed in sunlight, stretches across the length of the cottage, offering a perfect space for dining with loved ones or enjoying moments of relaxation. The cottage features a lounge/cinema room with a generous 65” Smart TV for your entertainment, as well as a cozy snug area ideal for unwinding with a good book. Additional amenities on the ground floor include a cloakroom, a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, and a luxurious ground-floor super-king-size bedroom boasting a freestanding slipper bath.

Upstairs, the first floor of Yarn Cottage houses two further bedrooms: a four-poster super-king-size room with an en-suite shower room and a super-king-size bedroom with zip/link beds, serviced by a family bathroom. Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed with tea and coffee making stations, quality velvet curtains, feather pillows, and luxurious bedding. Outside, the private enclosed patio at the rear of the cottage provides a lovely spot for alfresco dining or relaxation surrounded by the charming Cotswolds atmosphere.

When venturing into the town of Broadway, history surrounds you at every corner. The High Street, a short distance from the cottage, boasts ancient honey-colored limestone buildings dating back to the 16th century and earlier, including the historic Abbots Grange constructed in 1320. Explore the town's array of historic pubs, cafés, restaurants, and independent shops, or embark on a walk up Fish Hill to visit the iconic Broadway Tower and savor the breathtaking views. For a less strenuous outing, a short drive to Snowshill offers a visit to the ancient Manor House. Nearby, the picturesque town of Chipping Campden, often regarded as the prettiest town in England, offers cultural attractions such as the 'Olimpick' Games originating from the early 17th century.

Yarn Cottage serves as a perfect hub for friends and families to discover the beauty and history of the Cotswolds, offering a blend of modern comfort and traditional charm in a remarkable setting that invites relaxation and exploration.
