Located at the entrance of this private-to-guests 13-acre woodland, this is an ideal space for dog walking and discovering the woodland glades beside the two meandering rivers and waterfalls within. The cabin is surrounded by a variety of native and coniferous trees creating a perfect escape from the rigours of everyday life. Guests will have the pleasure of watching lambs in the springtime in adjacent meadows and discovering the abundance of wildlife including dormice, birds of prey and badgers. If you can tear yourself away, begin your day with a stroll into the centre of Ruthin, ready to explore Nantclwyd y Dre Historic House and Gardens, Ruthin Gaol or the Ruthin Craft Centre, before treating your loved ones to a hearty meal and cold beverage at one of several inviting pubs or restaurants. In the immediate area are the Clwydian Way walk (of which Lady Bagot's Drive is part of) and Offa's Dyke walk along the Clwydian Range to take in the stunning summits of Moel Famau, Fenlli and Arthur with their Iron age settlements, hill-top fortresses and ancient beacons waiting to be discovered. Further afield in the market town of Denbigh, discover the magnificent Denbigh Castle which showcases stunning vistas over the rolling countryside, as well as the Cae Dai 50s Museum which boasts private collections including Showbiz, Crime, Sport and Classic Cars. The living areas in this single-storey property consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and a dishwasher, a dining area with breakfast bar for three and seating for six, and a sitting area with Smart TV and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite bathroom, a double and a twin (zip/link, can be super-king-size on request), along with a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed gravelled area, decking with furniture and a electric hot tub, as well as access to the surrounding woodland and off-road parking for three cars. Within 3.1 miles you will find a shop, within 2.1 miles a pub and within 0.2 miles, a river and please note that this property does accept two well-behaved, medium sized pets but sorry, no smoking. Fuel, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Bryn Mawr Log Cabin is a delightful base for a family escape to Denbighshire. Note: There is no filtration system in the hot tub however it will have been thoroughly cleaned for guests prior to arrival. Please note that WIFI is unavailable for any bookings in 2022 and Smart TV and netflix functionality will not be available.Owner provides starter pack of logs for the log burner. Any additional logs can be purchased at 10 per pack.
