Cottage,

23 High Street rests in the heart of the quaint yet bustling town of Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire, home to the royal Sherwood Forest and visitor centre, and the Major Oak, the largest oak tree in Britain. Fit with contemporary furnishings and finished to a high standard, this first-floor apartment is perfect for a couple, a small family, or friends sharing, with Smart TVs, plenty of home comforts, and in proximity to local amenities, Centre Parcs, and Clumber Park. On arrival, two allocated parking spaces welcome you, before making your way through to the garden which has furniture and bike storage, making it ideal for cyclists, or simply those who enjoy sitting outside with a cup of coffee to start the day. Inside, climb the stairs where you will come to the dining space, and from here, move through to the kitchen where you will find everything you need to rustle up a tasty dinner. When it is time to rest, the sitting room offers space to unwind in front of the electric fire, but if it is sleep you need, choose from a king-size bedroom with a Smart TV, or a twin which is handy for the children. When you wake, freshen up in the shower room before planning your itinerary with loved ones in the garden. If you don’t fancy cooking, there is an excellent selection of eateries right on the doorstep to treat your family to. Nottingham is a historic city within easy reach with plenty of things to see and do. The city centre is home to Nottingham Castle, which dates to the 11th-century, and the National Justice Museum, which is a fascinating insight into the city's legal history. Nottingham Forest Football Ground and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground are both nearby, along with the Embankment, hosting an abundance of entertainment and local events. For something a bit different, why not explore the City of Caves, which is a network of man-made caves that were once used as dwellings and storage space, or perhaps discover The Olde Trip to Jerusalem, the oldest pub in England, built within the cave system? For something more hands-on, head to Green's Windmill and Science Centre, where you can learn about the science of milling and see the windmill in action. Explore the picturesque town of Matlock and all it has to offer; take a ride on the Heights of Abraham cable car and enjoy the stunning views of the Derbyshire countryside, visit the Matlock Bath Aquarium, and explore the underwater world, or try your hand at the arcade games. For something a little different, why not visit the Great Masson Cavern or Matlock Farm Park? And don't forget to take a walk through the Lumsdale Waterfall – a truly magical experience! A fabulous holiday home in a lovely town, choose 23 High Street for a break with loved ones.
