Offering very welcoming accommodation, this Filey cottage has a spacious, open plan living area with south-facing French doors opening on to a small patio. Light and airy throughout, this Filey cottage is tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. The property is well-equipped, with TVs and DVDs in each bedroom and a good selection of games - including a Wii - so there is plenty to keep everyone amused. Surrounded by extensive communal lawned grounds with picnic areas and two lakes, this Filey cottage has a host of outdoor pursuits such as putting green, tennis and bike hire readily available. Guests are able to book snorkelling, archery and fencing lessons if desired or for the less energetic there is the on-site beautician's and coffee shop. The local pub serves food and is well placed for a short walk to the long, sandy, Blue-Flag beach. Filey itself offers a good array of independent shops, fine promenades and lovely parks. Enjoy the historic harbour or try rock pooling on Filey Brigg. Cleveland Way is ideal for walkers and the North Yorkshire Wolds National Cycle Route is popular with cyclists who visit the area and both are within a mile of your cottage. Nearby Bempton RSPB Reserve is well worth a visit whilst the Yorkshire Wolds and Flamborough cliffs are essential viewing. A lovely Filey cottage for a very enjoyable holiday.
