Inside, you'll find exquisite local art and a breath-taking glass wall with a view of the sea in the cathedral ceiling area. A lavish welcome gift awaits you upon arrival, and a bright and airy open-plan living space complete with quality appliances and furniture provides everything you need to cook, dine, and unwind, including a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a sitting area with a Smart TV to unwind in front of. When it's time to sleep, the bedroom has Egyptian cotton bedding and an inviting, king-size mattress with a zip and link function making it ideal for couples or friends sharing. Outside, spend a romantic evening in the hot tub while looking up at the stars on the decking, or dine alfresco with an incomparable view. In the spring and summer, you may hear corncrakes near the home, and year-round you might catch the local curlews, oystercatchers, herons, otters, seals, and other wildlife on the shore and coast near the house. If you can pull yourself away from this wonderful home, go along the shoreline route to Stornoway for a variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops. The property is also conveniently located on the Iolaire trail, with a spectacular coastline walk to the Iolaire monument and breath-taking sea views across the Minch to the Shiant Isles, the Isle of Skye, and the mainland. Should you choose to explore further, the town also has a ferry port and an airport, but if you prefer to put on your walking boots, you can make your way to Lews Castle and gardens, which have mountain bike paths, walks, a castle, a museum, and a café, making for a terrific day out whatever your preference. Add Scotland to your bucket list with a stay at Shore Lodge. The islands can be reached by flights from Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness; or by ferry from Uig on Skye to Tarbert, or Ullapool to Stornoway. EPC Rating: Band B
