Cottage,

Located in the charming village of Hook Norton, Oxfordshire, The Old Bakery is a stunning five-bedroom traditional Cotswold property. Once the village bakery, it has retained much of its original character with exposed beams, floorboards, and an old bakery oven. Situated in close proximity to the beautiful Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), The Old Bakery is an ideal accommodation choice for a group or family of up to 10 individuals.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by a contemporary kitchen/diner featuring a central island, dishwasher, and washing machine, perfect for preparing delicious meals to be enjoyed in the adjacent dining room. After dinner, guests can unwind in the garden with a drink or cozy up in the sitting room, which offers a television for entertainment. Additionally, a snug area with another TV and plush sofas provides an alternative relaxation spot. The ground floor also includes a convenient cloakroom.

Upstairs, guests will find a well-appointed bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, along with an additional cloakroom to minimize morning queues. The five stylish bedrooms include a king-size room with an en-suite shower, two more king-size rooms, a standard double, a twin bedded room, and a double with a luxurious freestanding bath, as well as two additional doubles and a twin. A superb family bathroom with a shower over the bath is also available for guest use.

Exploring the local village, guests can enjoy meals at The Sun Inn and Pear Tree Inn, sample local ales at Hook Norton Brewery, and find convenience at the village's stores, butcher, Post Office, and pizza takeaway. For outdoor enthusiasts, the area offers fantastic walking opportunities, including the 65-mile D'Arcy Dalton Way. Nearby Chipping Norton provides pubs, restaurants, and the renowned Diddly Squat Farm Shop from Clarkson’s Farm.

Within the Cotswolds AONB, visitors can hike the Cotswolds Way, visit National Trust sites like Chastleton House, and enjoy attractions such as Batsford Arboretum and Sezincote House & Garden. A trip to Stratford-upon-Avon offers a cultural experience with Shakespearean landmarks, The MAD Museum, Tudor World, and river cruises along the River Avon. An unforgettable Cotswolds adventure awaits at The Old Bakery in Hook Norton.
