Log Cabin, Rural

Dalbeattie 3.8 miles. Found in the lovely Coastal Kippford holiday park, near the town of Dalbeattie in Scotland, you will find this beautifully decorated two-bedroom lodge, with outstanding views to the distant hills and countryside. The lodge would be the ideal setting for a family holiday, a couple’s getaway, or even a reunion of friends, thanks to its large open-plan living space. After an afternoon of walking to the nearby lochs, head back over to Oyster Bay Lodge, kick off your boots on the decking and step into the living area, where you can find an inviting sofa arrangement to curl up on in front of a film on the wall-mounted television. The electric fire can provide some extra warmth on a chilly evening, whilst the dinner is being prepared in the kitchen; the chef of the group will love cooking up a storm on the 8-ring gas hob that sits atop the double oven. The rest of the party can eagerly wait for their meal at the dining table, with enough seating for a few extra friends to pop by for the evening. When it's time to say goodnight, you can choose from two well-presented bedrooms; a double with en-suite shower, basin and WC and a twin room, both complete with walk-in wardrobe space for all of your personal items. The bathroom that serves the twin room benefits from a bath with a shower over, so you can take it slow with an indulgent soak, or get ready in a flash with a quick shower, the choice is yours! The outside decked area has a fantastic barbecue for when the sun is shining, with table and chairs for some alfresco dining, all you need is a cold drink in hand! One of Scotland's prettiest seaside villages on the shore of the estuary of the River Urr, there are many things to do in the local area including coastal and forest walks, golf, cycling, fishing and sailing. For a day out, head over to Threave Castle, only accessible by boat as it's situated on an island in the middle of the River Dee, it was built back in the 14th century by the Lord of Galloway at the time, it is sure to impress. Oyster Bay Lodge is a wonderful property, perfect for a break away with your loved ones to take in the beauty of Scotland. EPC Rating: Band C
