Head out into the countryside to discover the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, ideal for hiking and mountain biking, with trails including Cross Fell and Thack Moor. Visit the Kilder Forest Park, Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or the lake District National Park, with walks at Scafell Pike and Bassenthwaite Lake National Nature Reserve.
