The ancient borough and town of Launceston is situated in the east of Cornwall and is a beautiful location packed with charm and character. The lovely town offers visitors in the area with all the amenities they need to enjoy a self-catering break here.
Lynhays is a detached property resting on the outskirts of Launceston town. This all-ground-floor accommodation comes with a king-size double and a double bedroom, together sleeping up to four people. There is also a bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC. Completing the interior is an open-plan living room with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Additional rooms include a conservatory and a utility. Outside, there is ample off-road parking and a garden with a lawn area and a patio area with table and chairs. Lynhays is a wonderful base for spending time with your loved ones.
Launceston is a large town resting on the Devon and Cornwall border and houses some fine Georgian buildings in the central square, and is dominated by the ruins of a Norman castle. Within the town you will also find a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and the steam train which takes you through the beautiful Kensey Valley on a 5-mile round trip. Within close reach is the Bodmin Moor and the seaside resorts of Bude and Padstow.
