Cottage,

4 Meadow Retreat is a stunning holiday lodge located in the picturesque village of Dobwalls in Cornwall, just outside the breathtaking Bodmin Moors. This beautifully-presented property serves as an ideal base for families and groups of friends who enjoy hiking and scenic views. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a spacious and modern open-plan living area, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen where culinary delights can be prepared. While some relax on the comfortable sofas in front of the Smart TV, others can gather around the dining table for a few rounds of card games. For al fresco dining, the terrace provides the perfect setting, allowing guests to enjoy their meals while the children play on the communal lawn area and the adults unwind in the hot tub.

The lodge also boasts beautifully-decorated bedrooms featuring soft furnishings and large windows. Those who are fortunate enough to stay in the master or king-size rooms can indulge in their own en-suite shower rooms and Smart TVs. Each morning, guests can wake up refreshed, take a revitalizing shower, and prepare for an exciting day of exploration. A visit to the nearby town of Liskeard offers opportunities to savor delicious British cuisine at The White Horse Inn pub, experience bistro-style dining at Rumours, or enjoy a lighter lunch or indulgent brunch at The Powerhouse Cafe. History enthusiasts can also explore the Liskeard Museum and Stuart House, immersing themselves in the town's rich heritage.

Within the expansive Bodmin Moors, there are numerous hiking trails waiting to be discovered. Visitors can start their adventure at Carnglaze Caverns, an intriguing man-made cave featuring an underground lake that occasionally hosts concerts and live events. A hike to Golitha Falls offers the chance to marvel at a beautiful cascading waterfall nestled within an ancient oak woodland, while a visit to The Cheesewring provides awe-inspiring views of giant granite slabs and panoramic vistas of the moors.

For a change of scenery, a drive to the charming town of St Austell promises a delightful day out. Guests can relax on the sandy shores of Duporth Beach, meander through the diverse plant species at Pinetum Gardens, and end the day with a family meal at Smokin’ Harbour BBQ, boasting captivating views of Charlestown Harbour and St Austell Bay. With its ideal location, diverse activities, and comfortable accommodations, 4 Meadow Retreat beckons visitors to create lasting memories with their loved ones year after year.
