Findhorn is an attractive seaside village along the Moray coast. If you long to be by the sea then a luxury break in this village could be a natural choice for you. There is also a beautiful stretch of golden sandy beach at Findhorn Bay, ideal for romantic walks or walking the dog. This is a little known part of Scotland but one which offers many possibilities on a special self-catering break away. There are ample activities available to enjoy nearby including walking, fishing and golfing as well as plenty of wonderful countryside, coastline and local attractions to discover.

Findhorn is perhaps best known for being home to the Findhorn foundation, a charitable trust which has set up an eco-village and new age centre in this part of Scotland. There is a visitors centre so you can visit this fascinating community when enjoying a luxury break in the village.

Also within relatively easy reach for day outs whilst on a luxury cottage break are some of Moray’s special attractions. Take a dolphin watching trip from Buckie around 30 miles away, visit Inverness and Loch Ness also around 30 miles away and visit a one of Speyside’s whisky distilleries at Aberlour around 27 miles from Findhorn.

When it comes to luxury self-catering accommodation in Scotland, you may be interested in luxury coastal cottages, romantic cottages or pet-friendly cottages depending on your needs.
