Cullen is a small fishing village located along the Morayshire coast. Set within a remote part of Scotland, those who make the journey to this little known place in Scotland for a luxury cottage break away will be rewarded with a slower pace of life and a fantastic coastline. With a harbour, fishermen’s cottages and a golf club on the outskirts of the village, Cullen is a picturesque place to stay.

There are plenty of beautiful little fishing villages to discover in Morayshire. In places like Portsoy, Gardenstown and Crovie you may feel as if you are stepping back in time. The small pretty coastal village of Pennan where there is a beach and sea caves nearby should not be missed and not only for the dramatic approach from the hugely steep road.

Wildlife lovers should adore Morayshire with its large population or sea birds and those who want to take to the open seas can catch a boat trip from nearby Buckie to go dolphin watching in the Moray Firth. Much of what makes this part of Scotland special is to be found by the coast but inland you can also find fascinating castles and whisky distilleries which make for a memorable day out.  Whether you plan to stay in a romantic luxury cottage or a large country house have a fantastic time.
