Whitey Top Farm is home to Whitey Top Lodges, 2 lodges distanced apart situated on the owner's family dairy farm in the tiny hamlet of Pentridge, 3.3 miles from Sixpenny Handley, located within one of only 14 areas in the world that are certified as an International Dark-Sky Reserve and within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The lodge is just 11 miles from the stunning Gothic Cathedral city of Salisbury which boasts the tallest spire in England, 20 minutes from the New Forest National Park famous for its ponies and borders Martin Down National Nature Reserve which is known for its wildlife, rare flowers and butterflies as well as the Jubilee Trail which crosses from border to border across Dorset and there is direct access to many miles of stunning footpaths, bridleways and cross-country cycling to enjoy around the hamlet of Pentridge.
Although the lodge is set in quiet countryside location, you are only 40 minutes from the glorious sandy beaches of the south coast and the fossils of the Jurassic coast. With many attractions for children and adults, stately homes and gardens within easy reach, this luxury lodge makes a great base for exploring the area.
There are two spacious bedrooms both furnished to a high standard, with with en-suite shower as well as a family bathroom.
From the hallway is an open plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen and a breakfast bar, as well as a good-size extendable dining table, making a great place to socialise whilst preparing some home-cooked meals and relaxing on the comfy sofas after a busy day exploring the area.
Leading from the sitting area are patio doors which take you to the veranda and the hot tub, the ultimate way to relax and enjoy the glorious natural surroundings.

Whitey Top Lodge is a well-presented log cabin in the hamlet of Pentridge, near to Damerham. The lodge can sleep four people in two bedrooms which are made up of a king-size double with an en-suite shower room and a twin as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the lodge is made up of an open plan living area with kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. To the outside is a decked area with hot tub and furniture as well as off road parking for two cars. Set in stunning countryside, Whitey Top Lodge is a superb place for a good holiday at any time of the year. Please note: This property only accepts check in's on a Friday or Monday
Sixpenny Handley, is a village in north east Dorset situated on Cranborne Chase ten miles north east of Blandford Forum and 4 miles from the Wiltshire border. Sixpenny Handley has a good selection of shops, pubs, a Post Office and a village hall. The village is close to the hamlet of Pentridge which hosts beautiful scenery, walks and footpaths. Nearby Damerham can be found on the Hampshire side of the borders with Dorset and Wiltshire, and lies in an attractive Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
