Described by some as the ‘Garden of Ireland’, Wicklow County is home to glistening lakes, beautiful magical waterfalls, glens and superb rolling hills. It is also home to the Wicklow Mountains National Park which boasts spectacular scenery and landscape as well as inspiring opportunities for sporting enthusiasts. The landscape of Wicklow is a great place for enjoying a number of exciting activities including hiking, walking, pony trekking and golfing. Walking enthusiasts may enjoy the mountain walks and some may even be keen enough to complete the 132km Wicklow Way.
