Great Maplestead

This lovely rustic village is situated in a wonderfully tranquil location near to the Suffolk border and within the countryside of North Essex. Aside from a being located in a beautiful setting, Great Maplestead is also a great base from which to explore surrounding market towns like Halstead and Sudbury. Slightly further afield (all within a one hour drive) are popular destinations such as the historic university city of Cambridge and the charming town of Bury St Edmunds.
