Corbridge is a village found in the south of the county of Northumberland, just 8 miles from the Northumberland National Park. With spectacular surrounding countryside, Corbridge is a tranquil setting in which holidaymakers can enjoy a relaxing country getaway.
The cottage is set over three floors and has two bedrooms: a lower-ground-floor king-size with freestanding bath, heated towel rail and en-suite cloakroom with basin and WC, and a twin. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, along with a kitchen and living/dining room with woodburning stove. Central heating is electric with underfloor heating and amenities include electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. For entertainment there is a Smart TV, WiFi and selection of books. Fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included. Outsied there is off-road parking, a side courtyard with furniture and guests have access to field with picnic bench. Sorry, pets and smoking are not permitted. The nearest shop and pub are 2.1 miles away. Note: There is livestock around the property. Note: Children under six are not allowed at this property. The Barn is a quirky setting to explore the delights of Northumberland.

Visit Matfen Village Store and Caf, a pleasant site to pick up your self-catering needs, and Matfen Black Bull, a charming country local bar. The historic Hadrian's Wall is just a few miles north, with a prehistoric standing stone nearby. Enjoy an indulgent spa day or a round of golf on the outstanding course at Matfen Hall or jump through the treetops at Go Ape Matfen.
