The farm boasts a rich history, once housing its own mill, with the remnants of the old water wheel still visible today. Moreover, the location provides stunning vistas of the Bristol Channel and direct access to the breathtaking South West Coast Path, leading to a secluded rocky beach via a rugged pathway. Yenworthy presents an idyllic retreat for avid walkers, with an array of hiking opportunities both on the Coastal Path and throughout Exmoor National Park. Guests have the privilege of exploring 13 miles of footpaths within the farm itself, complemented by the presence of the ancient Roman Fort at Old Burrow within the vicinity. The surrounding area is a sanctuary for wildlife enthusiasts, with four Sites of Special Scientific Interest, rare species of butterflies and trees, extensive heather moorland, and striking cliff geology enhancing the natural landscape.

Inside there is a large open-plan dining and sitting room. This room features a double-height sitting area with two comfortable sofas and a wood-burning fire, as well as a galleried sitting room equipped with three sofas and entertainment amenities such as a television, DVD player, CD player, and iPod docking station.  The dining area features seating for up to 10 guests.  The newly fitted kitchen is well-appointed and made for easy self-catering with modern appliances, including a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, and oven with hob, alongside essential kitchen accessories.

 

There are four bedrooms comprising:

•A ground floor double en-suite, 

•A ground floor twin bedroom, 

•A first-floor twin bedroom, and 

•A spacious first-floor double room with an additional set of bunk beds and a cot. T

•There is also a first-floor family bathroom, and a ground floor toilet.

 

The property benefits from Wi-Fi access, adjustable biomass system-fuelled central heating, and electricity, with a basket of logs, kindling, and matches provided for the fireplace. Bed linen, duvets, blankets, and towels are supplied, although guests are advised to bring their own beach towels for day trips. 

This holiday home is pet-friendly, welcoming up to four dogs with a supplementary fee. 

Outside is a patio and a charming raised garden area with outdoor seating and a barbeque, offering panoramic views out towards the Bristol Channel. The property is conveniently located midway between the picturesque villages of Porlock and Lynmouth, each offering a range of local attractions and amenities, and within proximity to Lee Abbey, a sandy beach just 5 miles away. The child-friendly facilities of a cot and highchair are available for use. 

Parking space for up to three cars is available outside the property, ensuring convenience for guests throughout their visit.
