Cottage with open fire,

Nestled in the heart of Harleston, Norfolk, stands the grand and imposing 3 Old Market Place—a three-storey property that once served as the town's bank and post office. This substantial residence is a testament to architectural splendour and timeless elegance, ideal for hosting large gatherings with friends and family. Approaching the property, visitors are greeted by a stately facade characterized by intricate details, a light blue front door, and sash windows that invite natural light to play across the exterior.

Upon crossing the threshold, guests are immediately captivated by the grandeur of the beautiful entrance hall, which sets the tone for the luxurious interiors that lie beyond. The interior of the property boasts spacious rooms, high ceilings, and exquisite detailing that exude a sense of masterful craftsmanship. The ground floor unfolds before visitors, revealing a welcoming sitting room furnished with plush seating, a woodburning stove, and a TV for entertainment. Continuing through, one discovers a formal living room that is bathed in natural light, providing an intimate setting for hosting memorable meals and gatherings.

A magnificent staircase gracefully ascends through the first and second floors of the property, with a large skylight at the pinnacle casting abundant light onto the lower levels. The first floor of 3 Old Market Place is home to four bedrooms, each uniquely designed and impeccably decorated. Additionally, this level hosts a 6-8 person hammam steam room—an inviting space for rejuvenation after a long day of exploring.

Traveling to the second floor, visitors encounter four more beautifully appointed bedrooms, with the master suite featuring a lavish en-suite bathroom complete with double sinks and a jacuzzi bath. Steeped in history, the town of Harleston offers a charming blend of quaint allure and modern amenities, making it an enchanting destination for holidaymakers. Its winding streets lined with centuries-old buildings showcase a rich heritage where Georgian and Tudor architecture harmoniously coexist.

Explore the town's myriad independent shops, boutiques, pubs, cafes, and restaurants, or immerse yourself in the local museum's artistic and cultural exhibitions. Just a short distance away lies Diss, an idyllic town perfect for leisurely strolls around the Frenze Beck Nature Reserve. Those seeking more adventure can venture to Norwich, where historical sites such as the Ethelbert Gate and The Plantation Garden await exploration.

For beach lovers, the nearby coastline offers sun-drenched days at The Denes Beach and Walberswick Beach, with opportunities for sunbathing, swimming, and even surfing. Whether indulging in local history, exploring the charming streets of Harleston, or embarking on coastal adventures, 3 Old Market Place in Norfolk provides an opulent base for unforgettable experiences in this picturesque region.
