A lovely conservatory at the rear of the cottage adjoins the spacious sitting room with wonderful rural views across fields, a perfect spot to relax in after a busy day exploring the area. Children will love the large garden at the rear of this Illogan Downs cottage, whilst those wishing to take a refreshing drink in the sunshine will enjoy the patio at the rear of the conservatory. The property also boasts a separate games room with full-size snooker/pool table, multi-games table, table football and a championship darts board, with darts. The village shop and the local pub are just a five minute walk from the cottage while the local 250-acre Tehidy Country Park is excellent for walking and golfing and the sandy beach at Portreath is a five minute drive. This Illogan Downs cottage is a lovely family holiday cottage, away from the crowds but close to the beach.

Crendon is situated in Illogan Downs. The cottage sleeps eight people and has two double bedrooms, a family room with adult bunks and a single, a single bedroom with an en-suite, a bathroom, a fitted kitchen, a sitting room with dining area and a gas fire and a conservatory with a dining area. There is also an external games room. Outside, the cottage has off road parking for eight cars and a private garden. With lovely, sandy beaches nearby, Crendon is an ideal base for your holiday in Cornwall.
Just two miles from the glorious sandy beach at Portreath, this small ex tin-mining community to the south of Camborne is a now a charming, quintessentially Cornish holiday resort. Illogan Downs can be found in the pretty countryside surrounding the towns of St Ives and Penzance. Both of these large settlements are home to a number of art galleries, restaurants, gift shops and picturesque harbours. Beaches on the north and south Cornish coasts can be easily reached by car within minutes. If sunbathing, surfing and boating aren't for you, then why not explore Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station or Flambards theme park? This is a great holiday spot for all the family with great activities for nature enthusiasts, thrill seekers and beach lovers alike.
