5 ideas for a late luxury Easter Getaway

You have a week off over the Easter holidays and you are now wishing you had booked somewhere to get away to with just your partner or with your family. Well, the good news is it’s not too late. There are plenty of opportunities, even at this late stage, to book some last minute luxury accommodation. The bad news is you are spoilt for choice. Don’t waste any more time thinking about it and instead start booking your luxury break. Here are some ideas to help:

1 A city break in England

Why not head off for a romantic holiday to one of the many great English cities. A London city break is a great option, whether you want to see the sites, like Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square or the Houses of Parliament, sample some culture in a museum or art gallery or just to enjoy the nightlife. If you don’t like the hustle and bustle of a huge metropolis like London, then why not stay in Bath to experience stunning architecture, tourist attractions like the Roman Baths and an impressive array of quality restaurants. You don’t need to find a hotel, either, because there are plenty of options for luxury self-catering cottages in Bath.

2 A luxury log cabin

The beauty of hiring a log cabin is you will be staying in the heart of an idyllic location surrounded by incredible views. There is a rustic charm to this type of accommodation and they are amazingly cosy with high quality furnishings. Luxury log cabins can be used for romantic breaks or as a base for a family or a group of friends, with the option to have hot tubs, swimming pools or a tennis court to help you unwind.

3 A country house or mansion

If you have a big family or a large group of friends and you are anxious to get away for Easter then there are properties which will accommodate you all in one place. There are some amazing 5 star large country houses and mansions available in beautiful locations like the Cotswolds, Devon, Suffolk and the Pembrokeshire Coast in Wales.

4 A luxury cottage

Whether you plan to travel to England, Scotland, Ireland or Wales for your Easter break it is well worth considering hiring one of the incredible luxury cottages available. You can use the accommodation as a base to travel around visiting attractions or eating out but the quality of the furnishings and the cosy atmosphere might make it difficult for you to leave your cottage once you get there. Some owners even leave a complimentary bottle of Champagne to greet you on arrival.

5 Give the dogs a break too

It could be that you want to go away but you can’t bear to be away from your beloved dogs. Well, why not take them with you. There are plenty of dog friendly luxury cottages available to rent and they will love being exercised in the rolling countryside of places like the Lake District, the Peak District or the Scottish Highlands.
