Description

Spadgers is a romantic holiday cottage with an open log fire. It is part of a short terrace of 18th Century flax workers cottages, just off the lovely village green of Long Melford.

Spadgers benefits from 2 bedrooms and sleeps 3 people, the kitchen breakfast bar overlooks a lovely little oasis of a garden with a back gate leading straight out into the fields.

Long Melford is one of Suffolk's prettiest villages and is a haven for Antique hunters having been made famous by the TV series 'LoveJoy'.

The sitting rooms’ focal point is the lovely open fire, framed by the large oak Bressumer.

The brick flooring is with original Suffolk Whites and the wooden panelled wall really make this a very cosy room.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooking and has lovely views overlooking the fully enclosed garden, which can be enjoyed from the breakfast bar.

The sunny garden is one of the big attractions to this cottage being totally enclosed and backing onto a footpath leading directly out into the fields – ideal for doggies, and walks. There are BBQ, seating and Bikes provided.

The bathroom, which has a bath with a shower fitting is located on the ground floor accessed through the kitchen.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one of which is quite small so is better for a single person.
