Be welcomed by a handy porch to leave your boots and follow the steps up to the social heart of the house. Feel the warmth of the underfloor heating as you step into the open-plan living/dining room; vaulted ceilings and stunning beams overhead make for a spacious room to unwind by the warmth of the woodburning stove, sink into the plush corner sofa for a movie night on the Smart TV, or grab a book from the generous book shelves. Rustic meets charming décor in this delightful home, such as pretty artwork, colourful rugs and quirky heart-shaped seats at the dining table, fit for four guests to tuck into a hearty meal. The cottage is set over three floors and has two bedrooms: a lower-ground-floor king-size with freestanding bath, heated towel rail and en-suite cloakroom with basin and WC, and a twin. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, along with a kitchen and living/dining room with woodburning stove. Central heating is electric with underfloor heating and amenities include electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. For entertainment there is a Smart TV, WiFi and selection of books. Fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included. Outsied there is off-road parking, a side courtyard with furniture and guests have access to field with picnic bench. Sorry, pets and smoking are not permitted. The nearest shop and pub are 2.1 miles away. Note: There is livestock around the property. Note: Children under six are not allowed at this property. The Barn is a quirky setting to explore the delights of Northumberland.
